Lisa Banchieri and Maurizio Moretti. Both Lisa and Maurizio are native Florentines. Their culinary collaboration dates back to 1990 and the renowned gastronomical club, which they co-directed until 2000.
 It was this experience that inspired the master chef and wine connoisseur to take their combined knowledge and love of Tuscan food from the kitchen to the classroom where they teach and also into the temporary Tuscan homes of many international visitors.

Lisa & Maurizio will personally plan the entire evening from the most simple Tuscan fare to the most elaborate and refined meal. We can work with you prior to your arrival to design a specific menu or you can leave it completely up to them. Special attention will be given to requests for those who require a vegetarian or macrobiotic meal and both Lisa and Maurizio have studied these nutritional requiremnets in detail. Whether it be a romantic dinner for two, a wedding celebration or a family reunion for three generations, we can cater to every requirement and customize as much or as little as you need. Maurizio is a wine expert so we can also provide suggestions on wines and on request can pre purchase a selection to compliment your menu.

Lisa and Maurizio will do all of the shopping selecting only the freshest and in season produce of the maximum quality. If guests were interested, we can also arrange for you to join the chefs on their trip to the 'mercato' to experience the smells, colours and lifeblood of Tuscany.
On request we can also organise a cooking class in your villa either to prepare the final feast for the entire group or as an addition to the main meal. Just let us know, we can customize totally to suit your individual requirements.
