A drive through the wonderful Tuscan countryside with green hills, cypress-ringed villas, abbeys, villages, farmhouses where vineyards, olives and fields of sunflowers mingle with wooded hills to form landscapes of timeless beauty.
We will stop in Greve, considered the "little capital of Chianti". The beautiful main square, flanked by porticoes and terraces has in the center the statue of Giovanni da Verrazzano the famous navigator, born in the area.
We will stop at one of the many famous wineries where you will have a wine tasting of the prestigious Chianti wine, produced and bottled here and distinguished by the trademark of the black rooster. |
