This thermal bath has been popular for several centuries. The Etruscans, the Romans and nobility from all over Europe have come here to relax and rejuvenate themselves. Its popularity soared in the mid 18th century when the Grand Duke of Tuscany, Francesco Stefano of Lorena, made it his summer spa residence. Today the San Giuliano Terme Pisa retains this popularity.
