Apartment Orchidea, 19th century apartment for holiday rentals just outside Cortona in eastern Tuscany, is surrounded by olive groves and chestnut woods, looking out over the massive Valdichiana and the foothills of the Apennine Alps.
The area combines great natural beauty (Lake Trasimeno is a short drive away) with a wealth of historical remains and artifacts — Etruscan, Roman and medieval. Cortona`s ancient walls and winding streets have resisted the ravages of modern development and the town has several excellent restaurants.
Apartment Orchidea is on 2 floors and has an independent entrance. There are 2 bedrooms with a double bed each (2 single beds can also be arranged in one of the bedrooms on prior request), 1 well furnished kitchen and 1 bathroom with shower. The apartment has air conditioning in the living room and both the bedrooms. It can comfortably accommodate 4 people. There is a beautiful area outside in the garden with a table and a few chairs.
There is also access to Wi-Fi internet.
The grounds are well tended and there is a swimming pool (shared by the main residence and the Villa) - this is a truly perfect spot for a relaxing holiday in Cortona, Tuscany.
