Luxury villa in San Gimignano, Italy located in the heart of Tuscany. Villa Croco is a charming villa situated in the heart of Tuscany near San Gimignano, Italy. Villa Croco lends itself to great family holidays as well as to entertain, both of family, friends and business contacts. It is very comfortable and equipped to cater for large numbers inside as well as outside. This villa has all the ingredients for a perfect holiday accommodation in Tuscany - large space, beautiful views a sense of history and a very central position for touring.
Ground Floor: On the ground floor a grand entrance hall with a single barreled ceiling leads to a very large, comfortable and elegantly furnished room with a marvelous high, double vaulted ceiling springing from brick piers. These vaults make natural divisions forming a drawing room with a grand piano and a dining space with a large open Tuscan fireplace.
There is another drawing room on this floor equipped with TV, Video and a satellite receiver as well as an open Tuscan fireplace. The villa dining kitchen with a pizza oven and larder forms a connection between this and the hall and has an outside dining courtyard with barbecue. The laundry room, cloakroom and bathroom off the hall complete the arrangements on this floor.
First Floor: The first floor reached both by external and internal stairs, has a sitting- room, and access to a shaded furnished terrace at the rear, with a barbeque. There are three double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, 1 twin bedroom wit ensuite bathroom and 2 twin bedrooms that share a bathroom, One bedroom has a door to the terrace. The bedrooms have exposed beamed ceilings and color-washed walls.
Garden: Outside there is a carefully nurtured gardens with gently sloping lawns and several inviting places to relax and celebrate the views with a cool glass of wine. The 6 x 12 metre swimming pool with its mosaic lining sparkles invitingly in the sunshine. Beyond the garden, wines, olives and cypresses frame the extraordinary Tuscan views and tempt you to long walks. There is 5 hectares of land around the villa to enjoy.
The views from the villa are breathtaking both of San Gimignano ( which is 3 kms as the crow flies and 10 kms if you go by car) and of the surrounding countryside of Tuscany – on clear days with a view of the five pinnacles of Carrara, all the way past Lucca to the Apennines. In a series of undiscovered valleys, hills roll aways, collating meadows, forests, vineyards and olive groves with hill top farmhouses and villages dominated by the silhouettes of San Gimignano`s famous towers. In the morning light you can see every detail and window of San Gimignano and in the evening this amazing town displays its proud silhouettes striving towards the sunset above the background hills.

What a warm welcome you gave us on our first day to introduce us to your Tuscan home. The perfect home base for a group to return to after exploring the hidden treasures of this area. The morning sun rise, the walks, the view that look all so magnificent, and the laughter that echoed throughout the hillside as we celebrated 60th birthday years.
