Farmhouse Vico - Vico D`Elsa, Florence

Tuscany farmhouse with swimming pool in Chianti region of Vico d`Elsa, Italy.

Vico is an old farmhouse dating from 1600 and totally restored in 1987. It has two floors and is surrounded by a large garden. Farmhouse Vico is a completely independent farmhouse with private parking lot. On the ground floor of the farmhouse there is a large sitting room with original brick arches and a stone fireplace, a kitchen also provided with a barbeque, a bathroom with shower box; one double bedroom with queen size bed and private bathroom with shower box, and one bedroom with twin beds and private bathroom with shower box. On the first floor there is an exceptionally well lit living room furnished with card and billiard tables, one double bedroom with queen size bed and private bathroom with shower box, two bedrooms with twin beds and one bathroom with shower box.

The farmhouse is furnished with antique furniture, pictures, carpets, curtains and typical Tuscan objects. There are terracotta floors and exposed wooden beams on the ceilings.

The farm house in equipped with all modern comforts: Fridge/freezer, oven, washing machine, dishwasher, iron, satellite TV, independent heating and telephone. Outside, in the large garden there are sunbathing beds, deckchairs, outdoor dining furniture and umbrellas. The swimming pool (m. 6 x m 12) is at the guests` disposal, but it has to be shared with the owner. A large terrace offers a view over San Gimignano, across the vineyards and the olive groves of the Chianti, Tuscany.

On the ground floor of the villa, there is a dispenser with a selection of the best of Tuscan wines. Along with it, there is also price list, information about the manufacturing companies and other information. You can help yourself with these wines and the payment can be made at the end of the stay.
