This luxury accommodation is surrounded by several hectares of beautifully manicured Italian gardens and olive trees, the villa is quietly tucked away in the Tuscany Maremma area.The Contessas Villa is a charming and elegant country villa that accommodates all the amenities of a luxury hotel. With the Thyrrenian coastline only a short drive away, the luxury villa offers privacy with all the conveniences. The main villa features 6 deluxe double bedrooms; each uniquely and elegantly decorated by the Contessa herself. Bedrooms feature either the traditional Tuscan “cotto” floor or wooden floors. Antiques are used as decorations throughout. Plush bedding and fluffy linens add to the charm and comfort. Each room is modernly equipped, featuring a TV, telephone, PC connection, Air Conditioning, heating and a private marble-laid bathroom.
The main living area offers a large screen TV, stereo, movies (both English and Italian), CD’s, various games and books. For guests musically inclined, there is also a piano. If additional accommodation is needed, the ‘Fattoria’ is separate from the main villa and features 2 additional double bedrooms, both uniquely and elegantly decorated. Rooms can be rented individually or the villa can be rented as a whole. The area offers many things to do. Beaches and yacht ports are only a short distance away. A full day of sea boating and beach combing can be arranged. Various historical towns immersed in tradition and “old stones” adorn the surrounding area.
Food, spa treatments, shopping and wine tasting are readily available. For those just wanting to relax, the estate offers many amenities: swim laps in the long lap pool, horseback riding through the countryside, or enjoy a game of tennis, bocce or croquet. Of course visiting the various animals that live on the estate is a must, a treasure unique to ‘The Contessa’s Villa’. Donkeys, alpacas, prairie dogs, an odorless skunk, mini goats, rabbits, dogs, lambs and various birds all call the estate home. They are discreetly apart from the guests though easily reached. Guests will be pampered, beds are turned down nightly and pick up and delivery of personal laundry can be arranged. Daily maid service (6 days per week) is included in the rental.; also included in the rental is a cook ( 6 days per week for 4 hrs daily) who is glad to teach how to cook some wonderful Tuscan dishes. Various outings can be arranged, including wine tasting, boating and hot air ballooning. With all the luxurious amenities, you will want to call ‘The Contessa’s Villa’ your ‘home away from home’. Rooms are also available to rent individually and an extra bed for a child can be provided on request. For groups of up to 16 people, there are also an additional 2 deluxe suites with bathrooms that can be rented that are siituated next to the main villa. Prices are quoted for larger groups on requests.
